Shows for Private Events

There are evenings where the entertainment cannot be left to chance. A dinner among friends, an important anniversary, a milestone birthday, an intimate wedding.

In those settings what I bring is not a magic act. It is an experience: elegant, involving, and out of the ordinary in a way the guests will still be describing weeks later. Whether it happens as refined mentalism in front of the whole room or a few centimetres from someone’s eyes, every performance is calibrated on the setting, on the guests and on the atmosphere of the evening.

I am not an animator, and I am not a magician for all audiences.

I am a professional mentalist and I have worked for over twenty years in private, high-level settings, for adult guests who have already seen a great deal and are not easily impressed. That is a deliberate choice, and it is the reason the tone of the show stays understated: nobody is embarrassed, nobody is pulled to the front of the room, and nothing about the evening is loud.

It also means I am not the right choice for every request, and I will say so honestly rather than accept a booking that would disappoint both of us.

Which shape suits your evening is decided together. There is no format that is better than another in the abstract: it depends on the number of guests, on the venue, on how the evening runs and on what you want people to leave with. For this reason I prefer to have a proper conversation before accepting a request, rather than sending a price list.

The choice below is not a matter of taste. A stage show works when the room has a focal point and the evening allows a moment of its own, and it gives every guest the same experience at the same instant. Close-up mentalism works when guests are spread across several spaces, or when the evening has no natural pause, and I move between small groups instead.

Most of the private events I am asked for happen in Italy, and often for guests who are travelling here for the occasion.

Private villas and historic residences, lakeside and countryside resorts, restored farmhouses, apartments in the centre of a city, terraces on a summer evening. Very few of these venues have a stage, and none of them need one: the show adapts to the space rather than the other way round, and requires no technical set-up beyond a microphone when the group is large.

I am based in Turin and work across Italy and abroad, in Italian, English and French. With guests who speak other languages I use a visual repertoire where words become almost unnecessary, and the effects land the same way for everyone in the room.
