ALESSIO RASTRELLI  was born in Naples on 18th December 1969, and now he’s living in Turin.

Magician since 1979, he obtained the diploma in Magic and Illusionism attending a three year course (basic in 1999, advanced in 2000 and extra in 2001) organized by Dario Moda.

In June 2001 he became member of IBM (international Brotherhood of Magicians).

His interest in Magic led him to take part in several national and international lectures and seminars with well-known guest stars.

In 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2009 he took part in the professional course of Magic organized and led by Tony Binarelli. In the 2009 he won the first Stage Award.

In October 2003 he won the first close-up award and also the very important prize Mister X during the 7^em Festival de la Magie de Cusset (France).

The following year he demonstrated his originality in the international competition Sam’di La Magie at Auxerre in France, with a big illusion performance cooperating with other magicians: Massironi and Testini (from Milan) and his lovely partner Sofia.

In March 2010 at the XXXIII World Magic Seminar in LAS VEGAS, won the 2nd place in the Close-Up Contest.

In 2005 he was a student of the Bavarian magician Alexander De Cova, whose lessons gave him the opportunity to learn new tricks and techniques.

In 2006 he set up his firt lecture for magicians: “Raise your level”, whose goal is the life-long improving in magic also thanks to the theatre techniques.

Since 1999 he has been performing more than 200 shows in theatres, squares, private parties, conventions, inaugurations, restaurants, discos and shows for charity.

From 2002 to 2005 he attended the drama school of Anna Bolens in Turin, where he started the studying of theatre (acting, diction, improvisation, miming) useful to improve his attitude on the stage and  his ability in involving the audience. In 2006 with the same school he attended a specialization on Cechov method.

His repertory includes different types of shows: Close-up, restaurant magic, stage Magic.
